Back when I worked as a cashier at a failing gas station, there were like 5 repeat customers that'd come in to chat every day. One of them was a guy covered in tattoos. He always talked about his job and family, and I'd do my best to talk with him(I'm not good at talking). Eventually he just started coming in to hang out. I thought maybe we were becoming friends(because I'm dumb lol). One day he sent his mom in and she asked for my phone number, and kept motioning out to her son standing outside who was pacing around nervously. She asked if I was interested in dating and again motioned to him. I apologized and told her no, but that they could still call to talk if they wanted. I didn't see him again for months, but then he started coming around again, and eventually thanked me for being polite about it and still treating him like normal. He said that between his tattoos and sexuality, that most people shun him. I told him he was great as he was, and not to worry about anyone else. Then the station closed down and I saw him like twice since then.
Another guy at the same place straight out asked me to my face if I was gay and interested in him. It was a total stranger I'd never seen before, and the question really caught me off guard. I awkwardly apologized and said no. He seemed kind of disheartened by it, but went about asking if I knew any gay guys he could hit up. I guess he was just really horny and decided to go for it. lol
The next time wasn't really anyone hitting on me, but a guy was following me around a grocery store and staring. It was really creeping me out, so I went back and met up with my brother and mom who were also there. On the way home, my mom said she noticed the guy kept staring at my butt... Ugh, this one still kind of creeps me out.
Then of course there was that old perv who kept following me around at work and pleasuring himself in front of me. I'm not sure this one counts either, but I might as well list it. Super creepy, and it happened several different times before I finally got the police involved(again, I'm stupid). Then even after that, he appeared again and tried forcing himself on me and for me to do things to him while he had me in the corner. I kept refusing, and thankfully someone else entered the bathroom and the guy duck away into a toilet stall(he was naked). I quickly retreated and called the police again after a major panic attack. That really put my anxiety into overdrive after that, it was always fairly bad, but since then it's very difficult to be around people.
I just wish cute girls could be as forward as men are.
