Like, it's the easiest thing you can do to butter up 2/3 of our country. All across America, people generally have a good view of "the troops". It's the easiest political win to support / be reverent towards the military. It's a gimme. And yet, you have McCain, Khan, trash talking the generals, his own draft dodging, etc and now this. Don't get me wrong, I'm no fan of the military, and in general I think the best/only way to really support the troops is to bring them home.
