Agrias Oaks is Princess Ovelias bodyguard and the woman whos told the amazing phrase Blame yourself or God. Too bad the remake ruined all of the dialogue. Unlike Meliadoul, whos also a swordmaster waifu on this list, Agrias makes the good decision to join your party early on, which means theres a long window where shes not made into a huge joke by Cids mere presence.

Looks-wise, Agrias has the kind of blond hair I like, nice little braids, and two fringes to frame her face. All of that is great. More impressively, she actually dresses like a knight (or at least a Final Fantasy knight)! The only strike here is that no one in her world has a nose.

Personality-wise, shes duteous, honorable, just, and one of the like twelve people in Ivalice whos not evil. I hear the remake gives her more scenes, too, which is good. Once someone joins your party in FFT, they basically never get any more dialogue unless theyre Mustadio. I think Agrias gets one sentence.

PWC-wise, shes technically an adventurer, but not professionally. Shes just the bodyguard to a princess, and I didnt get the impression that Ovelia travels a lot on purpose. I imagine most of Agrias time is going to be spent in big cities with her charge, which is fine. Actually, I guess shell have a lot of free time since Ovelia is murdered in the end.

Overall, Agrias is probably not the perfect waifu, both because youll always be number 2 and because she cant detect natural gas leaks in the house, but I can imagine her being an extremely good waifu in addition to her actual skill at bodyguarding.
