Topic | Help with some terminology in math |
parabola_master 10/26/17 1:23:41 AM #1: | So I'm going over terms in math (I teach7th grade) and I want to make sure I get this right. 5 - 7y Are the terms 5 and 7y, or 5 and -7y? I find this confusing since I know for certain that the coefficients are 5 and -7. Also, if I were to rewrite the problem as 5 + (-7y), would the terms then be 5 and -7y? --- i.imgur.com/mkGoWsg.jpg i.imgur.com/mkGoWsg.jpg i.imgur.com/mkGoWsg.jpg ... Copied to Clipboard! |
