I just found this and the other topic last night. My heart broke reading the story, and I feared the worst when he stopped appearing here.

I am so sorry for everything you've lost, and I can't imagine what you're going through. It's particularly tragic to lose someone you were just planning to build a future with.

It's going to hurt for a long time and it will never truly stop hurting, but I hope you keep in mind that you have many people who care about you and will do whatever they can to help and be there for you. My mother has lost two husbands; my dad died when I was young, and then when she remarried ten years later, the man died eight days after the wedding. She was absolutely devastated for several years and she still isn't completely over it, but with her strength and all of our help she pulled through and is much better now. Please don't be afraid to turn to others for strength.
