FFV Advance, I think there's a sound restore patch for that too but unlike VI, V's GBA version arguably sounds better sometimes

Rhythm Tengoku for GBA, there is a translation patch but the game is also perfectly playable without it. Though if the tablet has display or input lag this might not be that enjoyable. And of course Rhythm Heaven for DS

Try out the Dept. Heaven RPGs. Riviera: The Promised Land and Yggdra Union are on both GBA and PSP. PSP versions have a little bit more content as well as voiceover, but the graphics are arguably a little bit worse since they're just the upscaled, filtered GBA sprites. Knights in the Nightmare has both a DS and PSP version; I'd say try the DS version but if the controls are too weird/difficult then switch to the PSP version. And the last one is Gungnir, for PSP. Each of these are very different games with totally different rules than you normally expect from RPGs

If you want another weird GBA action-RPG try CIMA: The Enemy
