But that's basically how 90% of all JRPG dialogue works anyway. The cool thing about chrono cross is that every character has one or two lines that are specific to that character, that you usually only see if you bring them with for 100% of the adventure. and the brief moment of lucidity for that character is worth so much more in the context in which its presented.
