| GOGZero 11/10/17 10:20:28 PM #71: | Mortal Kombat (Game Boy) This port of Mortal Kombat is absolutely terrible and I feel bad for anyone that only owned a Game Boy as their only console that bought this on Mortal Monday. Trying to do special moves is a chore and you have to do it with the game's own pace and not your own speed. I had another reason for playing this game cause I wanted to check out a certain novelty about this particular port that I wanted to witness: The ability to play as Goro. It may not seem much today, but back then this was really cool and probably the only redeemable thing about this port's entire existence. Playable GORO. It's weird how you have to play as him. You have to beat the game first, enter a code at The End screen. The game restarts with you playing as Goro and all the other character names are named after the developers (Gary, Fergus, Bob, Eric, Carl, Peter, Eddy). Naturally, Goro is a beast. 3 stomps destroys opponents. --- The reason why you couldn't see my Signature before is because it was Invisible ... Copied to Clipboard! |
