We're talking about an industry where actors are denied work all the time simply because someone in the production doesn't like them and casting has never been based on merit. In the same way that women have been blacklisted for having a reputation of being difficult to work with (also with no proof or conviction) women are now able to use their power and say they don't want to work with abusers.
