I don't know what you were looking for my perspective on because there were too many posts when I checked this morning and I didn't feel like reading them all, but assume my response would be disappointing to everyone involved. Wanted you to give a rational opinion on the California NAACP wanting to have the national anthem removed as the national anthem for supposedly being anti-black and racist. I mean I have no issues with the anthem and would prefer not to see it changed. It is also strange to me that they specifically cite Kaepernick's movement here, when he explicitly said multiple times his protest was not about the flag or the anthem but rather what he perceived to be the mistreatment of black men in America in general. (I also think this is fringe thinking that is unlikely to have any real effect on anything so probably it isn't even worth worrying about. There are much better things to worry about at the moment! Like the fact a sexual predator might be elected to the senate because Alabama republicans couldn't do the sane thing and pick the guy that literally the entire Republican Party told them to vote for.) --- Moops?
