But its safe to say that the majority of consumers are all bark and no bite. Your words are largely meaningless. Actions carry weight. Your money is what matters to EA/Activision/(Fill-In-The-Blank). If you want monetization practices like youre seeing in Battlefront II to end, or at least change toward something more palatable, stop buying these sorts of games. Dont pre-order games, but if you do pre-order, make sure its a game you know wont launch with this sort of in-game economy. Stop saying youll never support loot crates, only to turn around during a sale or special event and buy them. EA isnt evil. Theyre a business. Theyre only making money doing what the consumer will allow them to do. What theyll tolerate.
