In the aftermath of me installing said batteries, I was able to turn the furnace on, and heat was applied to my home. So I've posted a topic explaining how I have gotten the heat back on in this entire post and now I'm warmed. The furnace went on almost instantly. Clearly I'm receiving the benefit of a basic home amenity. Been using this site for nearly 13 years and this is the most expected, yet pleasant thing that I've ever seen. --- special shout outs to DpObliVion and JDTAY, who did well in the contest and normally play the piano when these scenes play ...
