Even in countries without guns, murder is a regular occurrence.

Not in nearly as high numbers.

The US murder rate is on par with countries like Cuba, Somalia, and Kenya. It is three-to-fifteen times higher than its first-world peers.

They completely banned guns in Rwanda.

So the warlords killed 500,000 people - with machetes.

The villagers couldn't fight back , cuz . . . they had no guns.

1) Nice gun-lobby talking point, but it's not factually accurate. The government banned guns, yes... while at the same time purchasing them in large numbers and distributing them to loyalists. Roughly 100,000 people out of that 500k you mentioned died by firearm.
2) Comparing a third world nation with a history of violence and ethnic strife - and selectively choosing an event in the middle of a civil war, no less - to a stable developed nation is pretty rich to begin with, but hilariously your comparison still falls flat because Rwanda has a lower murder rate than the US. Let that sink in for a minute.

Kill 100 men: You are a hero. Kill 10,000 men, you are a conqueror!
