You don't seem to understand how NIMBY works. You don't seem to understand how karma works. One party is firmly pro-Keystone XL and one is not. The people living there vote for politicians who want to force Keystone XL pipeline on people who don't want it there, including Native Americans on their own land (still don't know how the U.S. government can even do that...), and then got an oil spill from another pipeline in their own back yard.
