Topic	So I'm playing through pokemon yellow. Why did we like this game as kids?
Tadamoto35 11/20/17 2:58:00 PM #1:	It's really awful. So many things wrong with it. I don't know where to start. 1. Your item bag. Everything is put into one compartment in your bag. Medicine, items, TMs, keyitems, pokeballs. And it can only hold 20. That's ridiculous. Sure you can put items in your PC. But even it can only hold 50. So you will run out of space no matter what you do. 2. The pokemon boxes. Each box can only 20 pokemon. When a box fills up, it doesn't switch to a new box automatically. This can be disasterous if you're trying to catch a legendary. Throw a pokeball, get a message saying the box is full, didn't save beforehand = noooo!! 3. When you catch a pokemon and it gets sent to a box, it doesn't heal automatically. You have to take it out of the box and heal it yourself. This is minor, but still stupid. 4. Psychic pokemon are ridiculously overpowered. They are only weak against bug and ghost type. But in gen 1 all of the bug and ghost types were also part poison type. So psychic was super effective against them! And the only bug attacks were pin missile, twin needle. The only ghost attack was lick. Night shade doesn't count since it did fixed damage. I also noticed that night shade could somehow hit normal types. Huh? 5. Those stupid hm moves. They couldn't be un-learned in this gen. So you needed a hm slave. The best ones are slowpoke, krabby. 6. When a pokemon gets frozen in battle it stays frozen forever. I mean unless you happen to have ice heal. Getting frozen was rare. So nobody bought ice heal. 7. Charizard's battle sprite looks like a damn skeleton. 8. Can't evolve pikachu in this one. So it becomes useless. Especially compared to some other pokemon you can have on your team. The best pokemon you can get are: Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Snorlax, Rhydon, Dragonite, Mr mime, Aerodactyl, Mewtwo. Those are all the grips I can think of for now. But I'm sure there are more. Gen 2 fixed a lot of these, but still wasn't quite there yet.
