A grocery store I worked at while I was in college had a time clock that rounded, and you were only allowed to count your register after your shift ended. So basically, if my shift ended at 9 and it took me 7 minutes to count my drawer, I didn't get paid for those 7 minutes due to the rounding. I don't think they do that anymore but it definitely happens. >7 minutes It can add up to several days of missed pay over the course of the year.
