I mean, if we put it that way, every com mon flying Pokemon like pidgey could help you survive. Zigzagoon can use surf. I'm just going by the fact that it's otherwise just an ordinary big bird.
Sure but Pidgey is smaller and can't travel as fast as Swellow, putting you at greater risk (though one could argue it being smaller makes it harder to hit).
Zigzagoon can surf, yes, but how is that going to protect you from an onslaught of bullets?
Swellow is 2 feet and 40 pounds. It's far too small for a human to ride on too. ---
