Not only is there ongoing employment opportunity, but construction and everything else that goes along with the influx also creates jobs. Get a job period, get a better job than what you have, get a second job, all scarce opportunities before scary gentrification came to destroy lives. What happens to the people who have lived in those places for a while. In most cases they are not getting those jobs.
