All that matters is how many viewers/clicks/retweets you get. Flynn still did take a guilty plea as a deal for lower charges and released a statement saying he'd cooperate fully with Mueller's team. And his lawyers have severed ties with the WH lawyers, clarifying this split indeed happened.
