| benbeverfaqs 12/06/17 11:07:41 PM #9: | Because of dyslexia. Not all brains work the same way. And some have trouble with words that sound the same being spelled differently. Spelling, especially in English, is pretty arbitrary. Think Knight, Night, Nite. They sound the same. But are written differently. Some words that sound the same but mean different things are written the same way. And some words that sound the same have different spelling. That's not very logical, and some brains have trouble with that. In other cases people just don't care, or are just dumb, or received little education. Mostly one of those four reasons.
