I'm saying he has an understanding of the human universe that I have yet to see in another person. And Sebastian junger isn't even top 10 in that regard. He isn't a scientist in the sense that you're referring to, but he can be considered a scientist of psychology and is probably the leading figure in his field of research on planet Earth. His understanding of the human mind and the evolution of consciousness is the absolute best in the world, if not of all time. And he has the academic accomplishments to back it up.
