Bottom line is net neutrality is good thing.

Don't let other people say that it's a bad thing and that we should get rid of net neutrality. Getting rid of net neutrality will eventually make our internet like what broadcast tv is today, Where you have to buy packages of the websites you want to vists or get the speeds you want to when playing videogames or downloading/streaming movies and games.

Ok because that's exactly how the internet worked less than four years ago.

Net neutrality is about government control. It's a nice name, but it means more government.

Patriot Act. Nice sounding name. If you don't support it, you must not love America. Result: increased surveillance on ordinary citizens.

Affordable care act. Nice sounding name. If you're against it, you want poor people to die. Result: government got it's hands in healthcare, many including myself saw their healthcare costs skyrocket.

Net neutrality. Nice sounding name. If you don't support it, then you're a terrible person who doesn't understand the implications.

Seems to be a pattern here, from both republicans and democrats. Thing is, people will fall for more government intrusion if it's their side telling them that it's necessary.

Use your head a little bit. What financial incentive does an ISP have to restrict the number of sites you can access? You realize that only adds costs, right? And to what benefit.... to lose their customers to the other ISPs that aren't doing this hypothetical online package subscription nonsense that never once happened ever in the entire history of internet before 2014? Now.... what benefits do the government get by getting the authority to regulate content on the internet?

Of course ISPs are bribing republicans to repeal it. Comcast wants to maximize profits. Republicans only want the campaign contributions. But that doesn't mean that granting regulatory control of the internet to unelected bureaucrats is at all a good idea.
