Businesses allowing dogs is also annoying and I'm more sure that's a new thing. I was at a bar tonight and somebody had a little dog and the bartenders were letting the owner put it up on the chairs and the bar top. That's fucking disgusting. I know places that allow dogs aren't supposed to act like that, but even ones that have good practices are raising potential health code issues and being inconsiderate to people with allergies.

If they serve food that would be a fairly severe health code violation in many places

Even clean and well groomed dogs can carry harmful parasites and should not be in public food establishments

never seen it in places that are all about selling food. but walmart is the main place i've seen it. I wouldn't be surprised if their is some high dollar restaurant though that lets stuck up rich people bring in their toy breed dogs.

There's at least one higher end restaurant in NYC that that serves gourmet dog food.
