Legion is not MCU but it also can be NOT not MCU. It's not in or out of any continuity right now. No reason to cancel it. Deadpool is safe, New Mutants is finished, so it costs them nothing to make a quick 100+ million on it. Remember, it becomes Fox's loss now. The answer with the X-Men is that they're going to be midbooted into the MCU like Spider-Man.
