If this movie as is, was released as the very first Star Wars movie ever made literally everyone would just be scratching their heads. Bye smell ya later! You can't remove it or isolate from the franchise that it is built on. No one's putting with the likes of Manos the Hands of Fate or The Room or anything. It's a competent movie with competent movie things, yes of course.
