As in, rather than seeing a setup for how two characters confronting each other is going to advance the narrative, and then playing that fight knowing the situation and what's at stake, you play a bunch of random fights and then "Meanwhile, in the story, other characters are actually accomplishing something". --- The shattered stage is set and there's a role you must fulfil <cite>BlackMageJawa posted [p:892334864] in Dissidia F...
