Social media man, everyone's lives are documented and spread around the internet. They hit the news because interesting things "go viral" and are seen by millions, then picked up and spread by news outlets.

The days of reporters chasing stories being the only source of news died long ago.

Now journalists and reporters aren't even the best sources for facts as they are often liars or biased

So true, I'm so tired of actual news agencies cherry picking tweets about a topic and reporting those rather than doing any kind of actual investigation or responsible reporting.
