Titanfall 2 released between Battlefield 1 (another EA IP) and Infinite Warfare
BlazBlue Central Fiction released in the same month as Infinite Warfare, Pokemon Sun/Moon and Final fucking Fantasy
Battleborn released weeks before Overwatch
Super Mario Odyssey, Wolfenstein 2, and Assassin's Creed Origins released on the SAME DAY
Why can't they just release these things whenever they're fucking ready and not when they're competing for someone's typically limited spending money
There are way too many gaps and dry spots in the year for this dumb shit to happen
I dont understand what your problem is. Just buy the games you want when you have time and money. They dont disappear shortly after their release date.
The only thing that could be a problem is with your first example because the online player base gets split up between those games.
Titanfall, BlazBlue, and Battleborn were all DOA as a result of poor release timing ---
