| Topic | I don't like those automatic inflating xmas balloon decorations |
| Mead 12/20/17 12:06:49 PM #1: | The ones people have on their lawns. There are a lot of them in my neighborhood. I like Christmas lights of all kinds and even those holiday light projectors can look nice. These inflatables are just tacky though. One of the nice things about lights is that they are either abstract and just add some holiday color or they are in some design that requires you to use a bit of imagination to see it. No subtlety to these balloons though. You may as well just put posters of characters you like on the outside walls of your home. Maybe kids like them but seeing so many houses with Christmas spongebob and minions out front seems lame, I guess I prefer more traditional decorations. Also they constantly have a fan running so they make an annoying noise all night and they deflate during the day so the yards look like theyve been littered with gigantic used holiday condoms.
