The issue is doing things like this drives them AWAY from food kitchens and shelters where the city can do a much better job of providing support. This woman could volunteer at her local food kitchen if she wants to feed them so badly, but instead she's going to cost her city tons of money fighting this nonsense and actively making it harder to help the homeless all so she can sleep better at night. I'm not mad, dude. I was suggesting a possible reason for why they would even bother to go after this woman. Charity work is to be lauded, and I don't think most reasonable people would try to stop a woman like this unless they thought they had a good reason.
