But on this dialogue business, if you watch RotJ again, pay attention to when Luke and Leia are talking to each other right before he goes to Vader. The whole conversation is spent with two characters describing each other and expositing rather than conversing. Imo, stuff like "My point of view", etc could have been delivered better but arent awful inherently. But theres so much of that RotJ style "Youve always been such a good person and your father and your love of someone and now you must face the destiny because youre strong and love and yadda yadda yadda" permeates the story-telling. Shmi Skywalker isnt even a character.
