Eh, I don't want to defend Roy Moore or his supporters. It's scary that half of Alabama likes him.

But I think people who are pro abortion and pro immigration and pro high taxes don't realize how important those stances are to those who are against them.

The argument of "This guy may have been a pedophile so you should support this guy who definately wants to kill babies" doesn't make sense, and like it or not that's what literally millions of people hear when you say it.

Those stances are just that important to them. Life for all, immigrants out and let me keep money that I have earned will trump a lot of opposition including valid opposition.

You're not going to win them over by repeating points that are just circle-jerking people who already agree with you.

To put this in a more nerdy CE based context, it's like saying who would you rather have in charge, Master Roshi or Sephiroth?

Remember it's an either/or choice.

Which is ridiculous because the majority who say that couldn't give two shit about anyone who's not an unborn baby or a god fearing Christian.

Life for all is such a bullshit "stance" when you actively advocate for harsher prision sentences (or death) and reducing funding to any and all welfare programs.

Edit: even better because "life for all" and "let me keep my money" are two opposing stances. Anyone who uses both in a sentence and is serious is a moron.
