I hate when most of the deaths in a horror/suspense film are just token minorities and/or extras who only had 1-2 lines.
Meanwhile the 18-21 year old glamorized super "couple" who usually just met, stop to get horny with each other while danger's lurking, lack any significant survival training, and function on logic similar to high school teens somehow manage to still live through everything despite having the most frequent run-ins with the deadly threat. And that's after a fully decorated marine gets ripped in half, a seasoned physically fit cop dies stupidly while forgetting to call back-up, or an infamous mob assassin who's cleanly killed hundreds gets taken down by a kitchen knife....
I'm tired of it. I'm tired of seeing the homecoming king and queen survive a rash of mass murders going on right next door to them while they would normally be the first to go in real life. It's uncreative.
That's why I love cabin in the woods. Makes fun on that.

Even if the movie is great, it really bugs me.
The movie tries to tell me this person is very important to save, when in reality, they are just another person.
Well in saving private Ryan, literally everyone except the mousey fucker dies trying to save ryan
Wife and I saw it on last night and I said that, but she said that Brooklyn dude makes it out too. I really dont remember what happens to everybody.
But really, the movie makes it pretty plain as day that they dont think Ryan is special and its a waste of a mission. He is deemed special because of circumstances and pretty much everybody disagrees, including Ryan.
I'm trying to remember all the deaths in the village at the end. ---
