"Pro-choice" is a misnomer. You'd think by looking at it that it means you have the ability to make your own choice, but it means only that you're making one choice that's in line with typical Conservative thought.

Uhh... Let me rephrase this now that I'm fully awake and not suffering from a massive headache.

"Pro-choice" and "Pro-life" are both poor terms. The latter is the misnomer I explained in my original post, whereas the former is believed by Conservatives to mean "Totally getting an abortion when I have the chance," not to mention that the Supreme Court case everyone likes to point toward mainly actually said that abortions should be an option to those whose health is at risk.

What you need to look at, and I forget the name of THIS case, is the one that defined Health as also involving social and spiritual well-being in addition to physical, mental, and emotional health.

"Pro-Choice" and "Pro-Life" are just terms used by their respective followers to make their philosophy sound morally superior.

Pro-Life: We support life, unlike those "baby killers"...

Pro-Choice: A woman's body is HERS to choose what to do with. No one else's!

In reality, it's more accurate just to call it Pro-Abortion and Anti-Abortion. The only thing up for debate is at what point you consider an unborn child to be human and deserving of human rights.
