Anyone who claims they can't tell when a guy is good looking is just sexually insecure. There are universally attractive features (clear skin, vibrant eyes, etc.). You can empirically tell if someone is attractive/unattractive. Gay guys can tell if a woman is attractive or not and straight guys can tell if a guy is attractive or not. Acknowledging that someone checks all the necessary boxes doesn't mean you are sexually attracted to them.

In a meeting, my co-worker mentioned that his friend who works here got him the job, then he went onto mention that this friend of his is really good at his job, cause he's really good looking. Then this other guys pipes up, starts going on about how he's not gay, so he can't state if a guy is or is not good looking. And he kept on saying that for like 2 minutes, we're all just sitting looking at each other, thinking 'nobody accused of being gay'. Most awkward meeting I've ever had.
