Back when I ate ice cream, that was my favorite flavor.

GMO foods are quite widely regarded in the scientific community as completely safe and have greatly reduced world hunger

Yes, I find Mead utterly detestable and a font of misinformation, but in the case of GMOs he's absolutely right. There has been no credible evidence to suggest that they're harmful to health and they're needed to feed a growing population. Plus they're more environmentally friendly in many cases.

Lol you are so misinformed it hurts. If you think gmos are enviromentally friendly then your credability is in negative numbers. Gmos dont help feed more people. Stop spreading so much information.

You're saying a food with a much crop yield than conventional farming doesn't help feed more people? How exactly does that work?

And GMOs are more efficient than conventional farming, meaning that fewer resources have to be wasted on them. Less arable land is used, less water is used, etc.

We can't afford to waste water on unsustainable organic farming which can't produce enough food to adequately feed a population anyway.

Your calling organic unsustainable? As opposed to gmo where all the toxic chemicals destroy the nutrients in the earth so that each year crop yields drop? You people are so brain washed that you think gmo is sustainable and organic is not lol

Organics ARE unsustainable. They consume far more resources from the ground and water than GMOs. They require far more pesticides than GMOs, polluting the land. Oh, and by the way, GMOs have a more CONSISTENT year-to-year yield than organics.

GMOs use less land, they use less water, and they return a more consistent result year after year than organics. And, contrary to your claims, using more land and water *isn't* sustainable by any stretch of the imagination, considering we need that water and using less land is far better for the environment. So really, all I have to ask is why do you hate the planet and humanity so much that you'd support inefficient organic farming?
