Granted, I've got a long-ish drive ahead of me tomorrow to relatives and I'm not getting much sleep now =x I also realize that the Disney removal is probably the only reason why I'm getting around to watching these >_> Otherwise I might have put them off indefinitely. Another great film. I can barely remember the original, which I might have seen once. While checking out the wikipedia page for the original and then the remake, I noticed that the forest ranger is played by Bryce Dallas Howard -- Ron Howard's daughter -- and the girl in the film was one of the girls who played Matilda on the Broadway production of Matilda (which explains why she can act).
