Trails in the Sky kicks off what is currently an 8 game long interconnected series (the story is roughly 60% done at this point). The first game can be quite slow (like Fellowship of the Ring slow), as it spends most of its time setting up the world for all the games to come (if you dislike reading, the game is not for you), but the payoff is worth it.
