I remember general fan consensus being that it was almost "surprisingly" good, with many preferring it to TFA, and some even calling it their favorite Star Wars movie. However, I never see people actually discussing it, unless it's that random "Rogue One was good, and in fact better than [other Star Wars movie]" post.
