I dont find the exploration particularly interesting, both because the entire map is already revealed once you enter the area, and due to the fact that half the time what you find is a field skill point that you probably dont have the right blades for. The Mana Sword posted... I still think the combat lasts far too long for its own good and actively dissuades me from engaging in it. Im tired of aggroing a bunch of monsters when Im just trying to get from one place to another and forced into minute long fights that I dont find particularly engaging because each encounter just ends up being the same rotation of skills and abilities as the last. I feel like we're playing different games. Exploration is so much better than in XB1. Areas are less linear, more dense and vertical; they require you to get out and think about your pathing. It's a lot like X in that regard, but on a smaller scale. I do agree that the lackluster map and lack of a hostility meter are big QoL downgrades, but as far as pure level design goes its a big improvement. And re: combat, I don't seem to be having the same issues as you. Between driver combos, elemental orbs, building up trust with my Blades, I'm taking down the enemies I fight pretty easy. I don't have a problem aggroing enemies either, because I either outrun them if I don't want to fight, or just pull a single enemy if it's too hard to get them out of the way. The Mana Sword posted... but I hear that gets better once you get off this first main continent the next continent is better than every single area in XB1! --- ICON: Well! There it is! ...
