If an item rings up cheaper than I thought, even if I suspect its an error on the stores part(and not me seeing the wrong price etc) I wouldnt say anything.

This is pretty spot on. Items go on sale a lot, but cashiers won't know. And I've seen(happened when I worked at a store) someone had an item ring up cheaper. The employee overrode the price to get it back to the correct price, only to find out later it was on sale or something. So, I don't think I'd mention it if it were cheaper.
