TopicStupid question, but how does the Amazon return process work?

I'm looking to buy a TV and say I get it, hook it up, am not satisfied with it for whatever reason(s), and would like to return it. What is that process like? Do they even allow a return window for dissatisfaction with the purchase or does it have to be something defective to qualify for a return?
If so, would I be charged a fee for returning it? Would I be responsible financially for return shipping? Which I imagine wouldn't be cheap for a big ass TV. And speaking of which, on the off chance it's defective or was damaged in shipping and I have to return it because of that, would there be added fees for me for that?

Any solid description for how it works would be greatly appreciated. I've never made a major purchase like a TV online before without having any kind of hands on or live demo of the product. I've looked around locally and none of the electronics stores around here have the models I'm looking at for me to check it out in person first nor do they have any on par alternatives worth getting. Everywhere seems to just have the shitty TV section and the best on the market that I can't afford section without why middle ground so it seems like buying online is my only option but I'm somewhat skeptical to spend that kind of money on something like that without even seeing it first.
