I bought a 1700 square foot three bed two bath house with a yard and garage for $72,000. For that cheap, you're in a different kind of hellhole. Not really. I live just outside of Pittsburgh for that and I have 3 BR/1.5 Bath on an acre in a metro area. 30 min commute to work.
