Feeling good that I haven't lost anyone and I'm ~15 quests in. I do the quest for the first prophet boss, bringing in my second best team (my best team is too good for level 1 quests). If it's anything like the necromancer boss, it shouldn't be too bad, I think to myself.

The run is going great. The enemies keep missing, and my guys keep critting. I find the prophet. Shortly thereafter, I lose my first adventurer. A little bit later, I lose my next 3.

I remind myself that overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer.
