We've had men thousands of years ago tell the future, walk on water and survive scorching furnaces and it's all thanks to the power of God. Of course the author of that article knows nothing of history for he is a liberal, yet has the audacity to compare these new supercomputers to the boss himself. Liberal logic is this: We can't purify ourselves to be holy for we love sin. We will build machines to do it for us, meanwhile get rich by hogging money that should be used to help the poor and needy. The difference between left and right way of thinking is night and day. That article reminds me of something I would read in high school before I learned about God like zeitgeist, but would help me in no way whatsoever. What makes you think that God isnt just a super AI that paradoxically creates mankind and is then eventually created itself by humans? Ironic that you call the indulgent musing of the article arrogant while failing to recognize the arrogance of insisting that your own belief structure supercedes all other possibility. --- All praise Mead ...
