Well, my doctor seems to believe I need them. So I'm inclined to trust his judgement over yours.
Yup theres literally not an epidemic going on where doctors are just over prescribing drugs...lol

I mean, hes not wrong (for once). I had a similar issue when I was prescribed percs following a surgical issue seven years ago. My doctor said they were the best thing for my pain, and while they certainly did the job in that regard, I still ended up addicted. Took them as ordered by the doc and everything.
It was hellish coming off of them, and this was after having taken them for about half a year. Youve been on them much longer, and presumably are taking much higher doses to compensate for your tolerance. Whether they are causing problems in your life, I cant say. But youre almost certainly addicted to them.
Maybe, but I have no intention of coming off of them. ---
