The user is condemning the charity they're donating the proceeds to, not the event itself. I mean, even if that breakdown is true, the 22% number being thrown around is pretty misleading, given that it states that while that's the amount given to researchers, it still shows the majority of the money going to other things that fall under the "fighting cancer" umbrella, such as education and public outreach. At worse, it's 76% of the total money going towards that, rather than the 22% being touted.
