Xuxon 01/09/18 1:59:16 AM #215:	oh man i finally beat golem... and then hydra! golem actually wasn't too bad once i actually gave it a shot. 5* moted Yuffie was MVP, firing off an average 27k per turn, and then instant heals when needed. Alphinaud did similar damage once he reached burst mode, but had a 4 turn lag. Fujin... contributed some damage, at least. i used the 4* ninja skill to build meter, then BSB, then meltdown. Papalymo and Aphmau filled out my typical mage setup. easy 35s victory. i farmed it a few times until i got shell dragon. hydra though, that took some experimenting. winning team contained Squall, Ingus, Ramza, Eiko. at first i tried Prishe for the fifth with her BSB and both earth monk abilities, and shell dragon magicite. she was okay, but not especially great damage, and i kept getting wrecked around 25%. then i switched Prishe for Beatrix, just lifesiphoning like crazy for magic blinks. that also let me fit angelsong in for Eiko, and put Enkidu back in with only one real earth character left (Squall just had 4 uses of quake strike). this didn't work at first either, with the DPS too slow and the second wall cast running out. so finally i just delayed the first wall cast to aim for a longer fight (no way i could have swapped Y'shtola in and gone without Eiko's crit buff). that finally worked, and i won at 1'06, pretty much right when the second wall wore off. onward, to mist and shadow dragons! mist dragon should be pretty easy for me as i have many good dark options. Seph BSB/OSB, Leon USB, Raines BSB, Kuja BSB and en-dark unique. shadow dragon i'm not as sure about, but it definitely shouldn't be as bad as hydra, at least. if nothing else, i can probably do a similar setup to my sealion party, with Hope and Raines BSBs. or for physical, i've got PCecil, Orlandu, Marche BSBs, and Agrias OSB. maybe PCecil, one other knight, and Raines, with Ramza and Eiko again, since Raines doesn't need anyone else's buffs. --- Grats to BKSheikah, a guru ahead of his time. http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lxkdr0uNc91qlu5jao1_r1_400.gif <cite>Xuxon posted [p:893692356] in Final Fant...
