And karaoke and Everest aren't even debatable; pronouncing them as I previously stated is just flat out wrong as they have set pronunciations. In Japanese, letters are always pronounced one way. "Ka" will always be pronounced like the "ca" in car, not like in "carry". Just because most people are too ignorant or lazy to say them correctly doesn't make the mispronunciation correct.

It's funny because Japanese immigrants were large contributors to Hawaiian Pidgen.

You might as well go to Japan and yell at Osakans for butchering "proper Japanese".
