That's the defense now? As if the US hasn't been giving Haiti and a lot of these African countries BILLIONS of dollars a year. Reminds me of someone who blamed Africa's current condition on European colonialism. Not entirely wrong. However, most of the affected nations became shitholes after the colonialists left, or got expelled. Rhodesia was an economic and agricultural powerhouse, before it became Zimbabwe.
